ChamberedIn is a SaaS platform used by U.S. chambers of commerce to send event reminders, RSVP requests, invitations, and other communications to their members. When you create a ChamberedIn account, you have the option to receive automated SMS messages and prerecorded voice calls from chambers you join.
This page describes how SMS and voice consent is captured at signup and how to opt out at any time. It exists so the consent flow can be verified by external systems (including A2P 10DLC reviewers) without completing email confirmation.
Consent is captured via an unchecked checkbox displayed during the account creation flow on the ChamberedIn web app (app.chamberedin.com) and iOS / Android mobile apps. The checkbox appears on the second step of signup, after email confirmation:
app.chamberedin.com/signup.app.chamberedin.com/setup-account. Provide your name, phone number, and password. You may also enable or disable SMS / voice consent at any time after signup from your Account Settings → Details page at app.chamberedin.com/settings/details.
Below is a static, non-interactive preview of the consent block as it appears on the live app.chamberedin.com/setup-account page. The Terms & Privacy checkbox (orange when checked) is required to complete signup; the SMS / voice checkbox is optional.

Message frequency varies and depends on which chambers you are a member of and the events those chambers host. Typical members receive between one and five messages per month per chamber.
Messages may include: event invitations and RSVP reminders, event start-time reminders, membership-invitation follow-ups, new-member onboarding nudges, payment-status notifications, and occasional re-engagement reminders from chambers you belong to.
Reply STOP to any SMS message from a chamber to opt out of further SMS and voice messages from that chamber. STOP triggers a confirmation auto-reply. To resume messaging from that chamber, reply START.
Reply HELP to any SMS message to receive assistance information. STOP and HELP behavior follows CTIA carrier guidelines and is supported on every chamber Twilio number used by the ChamberedIn platform.
Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier rates for SMS, MMS, and voice calls apply based on your wireless plan; ChamberedIn is not responsible for these charges.
